Elementary  LEVEL OF THE COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK

·         Course length: 4 weeks 

·         Number of sessions / week: three sessions 

·         Session Duration: 2 hours

·         Total Course hours :24 hours- live sessions through Zoom

At this level you are able to deal with everyday situations and express yourself

 (with some hesitation) on topical subjects.

For example, you would be able to:
 find out and pass on straightforward factual information.
ask for and follow detailed directions
 obtain more detailed information.

   Topics to be covered:

• Ask about holidays and weekends

• Talk about what motivates you at work

• Talk about your perfect job

• Talk about your future plans

• Make and receive calls

• Talk about hidden talents

• Give advice and make suggestions for language learners

• Tell an anecdote

• Talk about your life-style

• Explain health problems

The aforementioned topics are to be covered with their grammatical, speaking,   reading, listening, and vocabulary skills.

At this level you are able to recognise a wide range of idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms, appreciating register shifts^.

produce clear, smoothly flowing, well-structured speech, showing controlled use of     organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.- maintain a high degree of grammatical accuracy; errors are rare, difficult to spot and generally corrected when they do occur.

·        -Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of different ages

·        -talk about your future

·        -talk about celebrity and media

·        -express strong reactions

·        -talk about a difficult decision you’ve made

·        -talk about values and behaviour

·        -deal with awkward situations

·        -discuss how good a witness you are

·        -speculate about scams
