At this level you are able to deal with everyday situations and express yourself


 (with some hesitation) on topical subjects.


For example, you would be able to:
 find out and pass on straightforward factual information.
ask for and follow detailed directions
 obtain more detailed information.


   Topics to be covered:


• Ask about holidays and weekends


• Talk about what motivates you at work


• Talk about your perfect job


• Talk about your future plans


• Make and receive calls


• Talk about hidden talents


• Give advice and make suggestions for language learners


• Tell an anecdote


• Talk about your life-style


• Explain health problems


The aforementioned topics are to be covered with their grammatical, speaking,   reading, listening, and vocabulary skills.

At this level you are able to recognise a wide range of idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms, appreciating register shifts.


 


For example, you would be able to:


produce clear, smoothly flowing, well-structured speech, showing controlled use of     organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.- maintain a high degree of grammatical accuracy; errors are rare, difficult to spot and generally corrected when they do occur.
